Turned out that Windows 10 v did not like the old Initio default controller driver. If so, see what happens if you unplug the external drive. I have same problem. I clicked OK before I considered taking a screenshot unfortunately , and Windows 8.

When I then inserted a cd in the drive, Hey Presto! Friendly interface with only three simple steps to burn a disc, making the process easier than ever.

Just fyi there is no need zbw-06d2x-u reboot, or shut down the computer… there would be no difference between the two btw, assuming there was a valid reason to do so. To my surprise, I was subsequently presented with an “Initio”-related driver-installation dialog: I uninstalled it and scanned for hardware and the sbw-06d2x-j popped up immediately!

This has been driving me mad for 2 months. Uninstall the device in this case the Initio Default Controllerand make sure to select the option to delete the existing driver 2.
